Dresses for day and evening
We sew sheath, wrap, and softly gathered dresses with linings chosen for climate and occasion. Neckline depth, sleeve ease, and hem length are settled on the body, not guessed from a lookbook. Clients commissioning wedding-guest or gala pieces can bring swatches; we advise on drape so the skirt does not fight the bodice.
Structured evening dresses may include light boning or stay tape at stress points. Casual day dresses stay unlined or half-lined when the cloth allows breathability along the Danube summer heat.
Garments / Tailored pieces
Jackets, coats, trousers, shirts
Tailored jackets receive canvas and pad stitching where the silhouette needs memory. Coats are planned around lining weight and pocket access when worn with gloves. Trousers and skirts get rise and waistband checks that respect how you sit at a desk or stand for long events.
Shirts and blouses focus on collar stand height, cuff circumference, and placket cleanliness. We keep spare buttons and a metre of matching cloth when stock allows, so later repairs stay invisible.
We do not sell ready-to-wear racks. Commissioned garments that leave this room can return for hems and ease adjustments on the original pattern. If you need a pure retail alteration on a high-street brand, we will usually refer you elsewhere so our calendar stays free for made-to-measure work.
